I need step by step directions on this, I'm not stupid, however when it comes to computers I learn stuff on a need to know basis....
I want to set up another email acct for business and I've forgotten how to do it, pls help, thanks!!!?
What I do is go to Yahoo and sign up for a new account. I like to use the name of the business in the ID block. For instance:
XYZcarrepair@Yahoo.com. If XYZcarrepair is already taken, add some numbers to the ID (XYZcarrepair123@yahoo.com.
Yahoo will take you to the next screen and ask your name , address, and all the other stuff. That really is all there is too it. Just answer the questions then Yahoo will send you an email to your alternate email address and you verify that address and you can log into your new email address.
To go further, I have forgotten my ID and password in the past so I now play a trick on my self so I don't forget. The first time I log into my new email address, I add the login page to my favorites. Once it is added, I right click on the favorites listing, go to rename and add my ID and password to the name. Sometimes I reword the whole name so it is easier to remember what it is. I now have 5 yahoo email addresses listed under a folder called Yahoo in my favorites. Each one of the listings has the ID and password included.
Caution: I can do this because I am the only one who has access to my computer. For security's sake, you need to use your own discretion.
