This is a HUGE problem, since anyone trying to send me an email for my business, never gets to me. PLEASE help!
HELP! my email address from my business account "sales@costaricadreamvillas.co鈥?is not going to my email add.
I'm sure your email has preferences someplace. Go there and look for something that states "reply to". In most cases, that option should be empty. If something else is in there, replies wouldn't go to the address you want it to go to. I can't be sure how that option works with your particular email account, but look for something like that, and then read carefully how it works.
The other possibility is, if you have a bulk/spam folder, your replies could be going there. Usually putting senders' addresses in you email's addressbook would solve that problem, but with a business, you wouldn't always know who is going to send you mail. I'd again look in your preference to address that issue. It might be addressed under the "reply to" option as well.
(You posted in the Yahoo! Mail category, but the address you gave wasn't Yahoo, so I didn't give you specific instructions for a Yahoo! Mail account. If it were Yahoo! Mail, you'd click on options, then "General Preferences". The reply to option would be right at the top of that page.)

How do I send my email to a business co. fax number?
Easy! There are now Internet faxing services. You can send faxes from your email! The fax will be sent from your email and be received at the companies fax machine. With MyFax, you will receive your own personal fax number that they can fax you back at. Also, you can fax from anywhere. You don't need any hardware or software. All you need to sign up is an existing email address. For more information go to http://www.myfax.com
Hope this helps!

I need to open a new email for my business that i can access from my personal email...possible?
i have a personal yahoo.com account. i want to add/create a business account with different domain than my yahoo.com (ie. me@mybusiness.com).
how do i do this?
and...will i be able to access it directly from my personal account or do i need to set up a separate business account?????
I need to open a new email for my business that i can access from my personal email...possible?
I would set up a seprate business account that has nothing to do with YQA. If it is your business account do not risk having it deleted because of YQA.
Click on this link and follow the directions . Hope this helps!!!

Reply:U can add a new account and also access it via yahoomail
Merging other ids with yahoo
Yahoo mail can help u but it may be not fully compatable as yahoo is still adding more features in the account service
To add ur alternate ids to yahoomail
Go to options link in yahoomail beta
Under the accounts section select Add or edit an account
Then follow the on screen instructions

Can't get into yahoo email today and I use it for my business. Should I be moving on?
I am freaking out because I can't get into my email accounts today. So what I am wondering is if this issue could happen with any provider or does Yahoo suck...
Can't get into yahoo email today and I use it for my business. Should I be moving on?
Yahoo sucks. I would use gmail, hotmail...something like that. Yahoo servers are always going down.

Email useful to business?
Of course, email is useful to business. Email:
- allows businesses to communicate with their existing customers
- allows businesses to sell directly to their email subscribers
- helps businesses keep their subscribers abreast of new developments on the business -- new issue of newsletter, new promotions, new products
- email is cheap once you've built your list
But there are a lot of pitfalls and businesses must be careful not to spam recipients or send too many emails
Email useful to business?
Yes, I think email is still useful to businesses as one tool among many.
It is still probably the best way to quickly contact someone and attach necessary things in a variety of formats (pictures, scans, Excel spreadsheets, documents, invoices, etc.)
However, it is quickly being usurped in some areas- especially in delivering simple messages to coworkers and customers. Some of the areas that are taking over what was once primarily a function of email include text messaging, social and business networking sites, blogs and RSS feeds.
One thing many businesses and individuals are now doing is only accepting email from trusted sources in order to limit the time they spend dealing with unsolicited spam.
Reply:Absolutely! Email has taken a big bite out of snail mail and faxes. It is quick, efficient and paper free. To keep up with the pace of business in this age, you really cannot get along without it. Not if you want to keep up with the market, trends, competition, etc. Have a great day!

Email / Website for new business from home?
Can anyone help me find out how to set up an email address to advertise my business?
Eg i want it to be myname @ my business.co.uk rather than myname@btinternet.com
Anyone know how i can do this cheaply and easily?
Thanks
Email / Website for new business from home?
If you register a domain @ http://www.123reg.com/ you can get some email boxes there too.
Good luck.
Reply:go to www.ukreg.com - to register a .co.uk domain name it is 拢5.90 per 2 years, or its free with a .com which is 拢8.89 per year.
It is by far the best I have used, very easy and reliable. You set up your email all from the one site, and it is feature packed should you need anything else like web forwarding etc. Hope it helps.
Reply:uk2.net have been ok for us.

Im starting a small business, and need a email address that i can make up the part after the"@"?
ok, so there are yahoo, hotmail etc...email accounts that you can have, but i need one that i can make up the part where it usually would say "@%26lt;b%26gt;yahoo%26lt;/b%26gt;.com"
EX:
@what ever i want.com
Im starting a small business, and need a email address that i can make up the part after the"@"?
You would need to register the particular domain name. For example, you want your email to read @mybusiness.com
In order to get that you would need to own the domain name mybusiness.com. And if you do get a domain name you could also put up your own business website.
Domain names usually cost around $8-9 a year, and I think you can get your first domain name from Yahoo for $2.95 for the first year.

How do i get email addresses to send info for a business?
That's called spam mail:
What is spam?
Spam is flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it. Most spam is commercial advertising, often for dubious products, get-rich-quick schemes, or quasi-legal services. Spam costs the sender very little to send -- most of the costs are paid for by the recipient or the carriers rather than by the sender.
There are two main types of spam, and they have different effects on Internet users. Cancellable Usenet spam is a single message sent to 20 or more Usenet newsgroups. (Through long experience, Usenet users have found that any message posted to so many newsgroups is often not relevant to most or all of them.) Usenet spam is aimed at "lurkers", people who read newsgroups but rarely or never post and give their address away. Usenet spam robs users of the utility of the newsgroups by overwhelming them with a barrage of advertising or other irrelevant posts. Furthermore, Usenet spam subverts the ability of system administrators and owners to manage the topics they accept on their systems.
Email spam targets individual users with direct mail messages. Email spam lists are often created by scanning Usenet postings, stealing Internet mailing lists, or searching the Web for addresses. Email spams typically cost users money out-of-pocket to receive. Many people - anyone with measured phone service - read or receive their mail while the meter is running, so to speak. Spam costs them additional money. On top of that, it costs money for ISPs and online services to transmit spam, and these costs are transmitted directly to subscribers.
One particularly nasty variant of email spam is sending spam to mailing lists (public or private email discussion forums.) Because many mailing lists limit activity to their subscribers, spammers will use automated tools to subscribe to as many mailing lists as possible, so that they can grab the lists of addresses, or use the mailing list as a direct target for their attacks.

I use classic Yahoo mail for canned email responses for my business. Yesterday all was well,?
today it isn't. What happens is that when I send a canned response, the email is deleted from the drafts folder. Is this the "new" way that Yahoo mail works?
I use classic Yahoo mail for canned email responses for my business. Yesterday all was well,?
Yep--that's Yahoo for ya. "Fixin' what ain't broke"
They now delete the draft message when you send from there.
You can prevent that by holding down the "shift" key while clicking on "send", and the draft message will remain in draft.
This link shows a list of other "unpopular" changes coming----or in some cases---already here.

Why does Rove illegally use private email accounts to conduct Executive Branch business?
Of course, these are the emails that were somehow lost...
Why does Rove illegally use private email accounts to conduct Executive Branch business?
Other way around. He was supposed to be using private email accounts, because he wasn't conducting Executive Branch business- the problem is that they accessed the private accounts from government computers, in government facilities, on government time.

Paul Joseph Goebbels was a German politician and Minister for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda during the National Socialist(Socialist in name only-Hitler kicked out the Socialists and Communists) regime from 1933 to 1945. He was one of Adolf Hitler's closest associates and most devout followers. Goebbels was known for his zealous and energetic oratory, virulent anti-Semitism, and perfection of the so-called Big Lie technique of mass propaganda.
The phrase Big Lie refers to a propaganda technique developed by Adolf Hitler, and documented in his 1925 autobiography Mein Kampf which consists of telling a lie so "colossal" that no one would believe anyone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously". In that book Hitler wrote that people came to believe that Germany lost World War I in the field due to a propaganda technique used by Jews who were influential in the German press. The first documented use of the phrase "big lie" is in the corresponding passage: "in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility".
His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it. -

I sometimes use my work e-mail account when I should be using my personal one, and yes, I have certainly sent out partisian emails, but I'm *very* careful about it. Why? An example of what he's done is sending out a "Stop the Right" email sent out to almost every single person on campus. Gee, that's not partisan at all, now is it?!?

Carbon emission trading business so i need email or web address those how are doing this business, with broker?
You mean the "carbon footprint" thing?
Dude, it's a scam. How do you think someone can promise to plant trees on your behalf if the only thing you can plant is a sapling? Do you know how many years it takes before that sapling will begin to replace your carbon dioxide with oxygen?
I can't believe people actually fall for this!

Is there any reason to get the storm if I don't need the email or business apps?
I have an LG Dare %26amp; can check my email in about 10 seconds. And I don't need a phone for corporate email or business apps. I find typing on the Dare in landscape much better than the iphone. The two things about the Storm that appeal to me are its high rez screen and compatibility with non-protected itunes files. So do you think it's worth the extra $30.00 mthly for someone who doesn't need the business aspect of the phone?
Either way, I still can't wait too check it out!
Is there any reason to get the storm if I don't need the email or business apps?
screw the Storm
get the Verizon LG Voyager
it's much better
and the touch screen works really well

How do I create an online form I can email to business partners to enter information and have it sent to me?
I'm not sure how to explain what I want briefly.
I'm looking for a software or website that can help me create a document, almost like a survey, that can be emailed out to individuals for them to fill in their information (questions like "How much time can you commit each week" "How much money are looking to earn per month" etc) to help me identify and hold my sales team accountable to the short and long term goals as well as remind them of the commitment they have made. Then after they have filled out the form it would be automatically stored for me and/or emailed to me as well as emailed directly to the individual they are working most closely with.
Ideally this would be a reasonably priced software or a free or low cost service.
I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself clearly enough, but thanks in advance for your help.
How do I create an online form I can email to business partners to enter information and have it sent to me?
Try Microsoft Office or Word look under Templates, you may have to modify them. Also, ask an office savvy worker, eg typist, to draw one up for you.
Reply:you can check out these sites:
http://www.emailmeform.com/
http://www.formlogix.com/
http://www.mycontactform.com/
or you can use an excel or open office form, open office is free and there's a ton of templates you can customize.

I have 2 email addresses- messages sent to my business one aren't being frowarded to my personal one- why?
People who visit my business web site who try to email me on my business e-mail address- but I never get the mail... and it is supposed to be forwarded to my personal email address. I have added filters and it has not changed. Any ideas? It used to work just fine... but over the last month I have been asked by clients why I am not getting back to them... but I never got their e-mail.
I have 2 email addresses- messages sent to my business one aren't being frowarded to my personal one- why?
Sounds like a website issue. When the client clicks on "Contact me" , they should be contacting both addresses.
As far as e-mail providers go, things can change without notice. A feature as forwarding might not be available any longer.

Please help me! I use my email for business, and my email was suspended for 48 hours!!! How can I undo this?
I use email to correspond to my team of consultants and clients, so I send out emails to over 50 people per day. It is not spam though. These are all people that I have had a business relationship with. I just got a message stating due to unusual activity, my email has been suspended for up to 48 hours. I don't know how this happened or how to undo it, but my income depends on being able to correspond to my clients via email. What can I do? How do I find out why this happened? How can I prevent it?

if you can still access your inbox, simply contact your clients from another e-mail address, letting them know that your other address was suspended.
try gmail. i send around 25-30 emails a day, sometimes more, but have never had such problems.
Reply:first of all make sure that it is not fake, and check and see if you can send one( send 1 to a friend that you know will answer it) if it is legit than see if they gave another email to use or their policy on it

HR email says business casual for interview. Bad to show up in suit?
I am asking this question for a friend who has an interview at 10 AM EST tomorrow (Feb 7th).
When HR sent him an email, they mentioned that the attire for the interview is business casual.
This surprised both of us because as per most (if not all) interview help websites, it says to wear a suit.
Please help! Would it be bad to show up in a suit?
I figured dressing down is bad... [as in they expect suit you show up business casual] so dressing up... in this case wearing suit when they mentioned business casual attire is better, right?
Or should he just wear a shirt, pant, no tie [business casual]
HR email says business casual for interview. Bad to show up in suit?
I would not show up in a suit. That would demonstrate that your friend can't follow instructions. In addition, think how sheepish someone might feel if they are in a suit and the interviewer is in a polo shirt?
If your friend wants he can throw on a blazer, but I wouldn't wear a suit or a tie.
Reply:How about wearing a suit, but if he feels uncomfortably overdressed, he can slip the suit jacket off... Over-dressed is acceptable though in this situation!
Reply:Normally I'd agree and say that it's better to over dress than under dress, especially given that the financial industry is on the conservative side. But, since they did specify that the interview is business casual, I'd consider this a bit of a "test" on their part, to see if you pay attention to detail and follow instuctions. Most companies like team players. Business casual can be a jacket, nice shirt, nice slacks, but certainly no jeans- even khakis would be too casual.
Reply:Sports coat, dockers, collared shirt, and no tie would be suitible.. no sneakers..
Reply:I would definitely wear a sport coat of some sort, nice slacks, and a tie. Obviously, dress casual is not translated as sloppy, but it is possible you could be perceived as not following instructions if you go in way too over-dressed. I agree with the other post that being over-dressed is better than under-dressed, but there is a fine line there.
Reply:I would rather show up for anything overdressed rather than under.
Reply:no tie
Reply:I'd wear a suit or at least a jacket and tie.
Reply:Wear the suit and take off the jacket when you arrive. My company had such a hard time defining what business casual meant- your friend doesn't want to take any chances. Some employees at my company thought business casual was flip flops with a skirt and other employees thought it meant their entire wardrobe from the eighties.
Your friend could always call corporate recruiting or check out the company website to get a feel for the "culture". I guarantee you that Google Corporate has a different definition and code of conduct than Citi Financial.
Reply:I would suggest dress slacks, a nice colored collared shirt and tie at a minimum. I would also highly recommend a coordinating sports jacket that goes with this outfit.
Goto men's warehouse. Beg and borrow to come up with approx $500 to get a couple of basics. They had (at least last year) a very nice Calvin Klein light tan sports jacket with very, very light plaiding on the fabric (it cost about $295). My husband can pair with many different shirts (a tangerine or orange sherbet type of dress shirt was my fav. -- conservative but more "casual" than white or blue) with darker pants. Put a coordinating tie with it. Can always show up with the jacket and then remove it. Classy, classy look yet versatile.
Good luck.
I'd interpret business casual as NOT a matchy matchy navy suit. But definitely dressed for business.

I have a Yahoo small business domain and email account but can't access the email anymore.?
Normally when logged into my main Yahoo email account, I could click on the alternate (small business) email and it would switch over to that account. Now, when I click that link it takes me to a login screen. I log in, and it takes me back to the original page. Back and forth I can go.

HR email says business casual for interview. Bad to show up in suit?

I have a business and i belive most of my outgoing email are going to my clients spam..HELP!?
what do i do to stop this?
I have a business and i belive most of my outgoing email are going to my clients spam..HELP!?
It's not up to you----it's up to your clients.
They need to put your business address in their address book to prevent those emails from being delivered to their spam folder----unless, of course, they are intentionally clicking the Spam tab ??
Reply:The clients you have are responsible for making sure your address is legitimate and will be received by adding your address as safe.
