Of course, these are the emails that were somehow lost...
Why does Rove illegally use private email accounts to conduct Executive Branch business?
Other way around. He was supposed to be using private email accounts, because he wasn't conducting Executive Branch business- the problem is that they accessed the private accounts from government computers, in government facilities, on government time.
Reply:They are all retarded criminals. They are so bluntly criminals that if they were ever prosecuted they could plead insanity. Our Democratic Congress has to do everything they can to see that our country gets justice from the abuses of the whole administration. They need to set an example from the top to prove our justice system cant be manipulated by a bunch of corrupt oil f u c k s. They have made the justice system look like a complete joke.Only Congress has the power to do something. Obviously the attorney general is corrupt so he is loyal to the corruption of his friends.
Reply:yawn, you are still boring me.
thx fer the 2 pts though!
Reply:they somehow think that the bush administration is WAY above the law.
Reply:And they were complaining about Gore making partisan phone calls from his office?
Reply:Karl Rove is George W Bush's Goebbels.
Paul Joseph Goebbels was a German politician and Minister for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda during the National Socialist(Socialist in name only-Hitler kicked out the Socialists and Communists) regime from 1933 to 1945. He was one of Adolf Hitler's closest associates and most devout followers. Goebbels was known for his zealous and energetic oratory, virulent anti-Semitism, and perfection of the so-called Big Lie technique of mass propaganda.
The phrase Big Lie refers to a propaganda technique developed by Adolf Hitler, and documented in his 1925 autobiography Mein Kampf which consists of telling a lie so "colossal" that no one would believe anyone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously". In that book Hitler wrote that people came to believe that Germany lost World War I in the field due to a propaganda technique used by Jews who were influential in the German press. The first documented use of the phrase "big lie" is in the corresponding passage: "in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility".
His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it. -
Reply:Because he is the evil genius. No matter how much you acknowledge the FACT that Repukes / Neo-Cons are awful people...Rove is extremely clever.
He has skirted around legal issues his entire career. He is a horrible, awful, evil, destructive person. He needs to be deported, in the interests of national security.
Reply:Keep reaching COMMIE ,
Reply:YOUR OPINION is NOT ........PROOF...stop the lies or produce facts...oops you have none...typical lib....baseless accusations
Reply:Because he wants something and he knows no one will stop him. And if they do, Bush will pardon him, because if not for Rove Bush would likely be in prison today for some alcohol-related offense.
Reply:Sorry to interrupt your question, Chi - but I honestly don't see a big issue on this. I have a total of 5 or 6 email accounts - it's easy to send something from the "wrong" one. I see similar situations here at work *all* the time.
It is a university policy that we are not to use university resources for partisian political purposes, but it happens all the time.
I sometimes use my work e-mail account when I should be using my personal one, and yes, I have certainly sent out partisian emails, but I'm *very* careful about it. Why? Because I'm a conservative on a university. Even though the head of our Faculty Senate *constantly* abuses the policy, he's allowed to - I know damned well I would not get away with it.
An example of what he's done is sending out a "Stop the Right" email sent out to almost every single person on campus. Gee, that's not partisan at all, now is it?!?
Hell, even one of the biggest liberals I know up here agrees with me that it's done all the time by lefties *and* that I'd lose my job in a second if I tried it.
Gotta love that tolerance and diversity.
Now back to our scheduled answers.
Reply:Well, if Rove is really so crafty, he should have known that even those private accounts could be subject to scrutiny; "lost" or otherwise.
I really hesitate to summon up Bill Clinton again (I sort of liked the guy), but Rove - like Willy - just figured he could "get away with it."
Word to all the cons and fundies: I'm really a very nice, honest guy. Really. I also don't have any........convictions on record.
Gotta love these guys under scrutiny. They don't recall things, things got "lost," they didn't get that particular memo, etc., etc.
Reply:This is simply par for the course with the corrupt Bushies. He is probably one of the most corrupt of them all.
Reply:I don't know about the Illegal use of private email accounts, email is email. The real question at hand is how they suddenly can't be recovered with top White House officials confirming that some of the emails that were "lost" had been related to the firings of the US attorneys. Got to love it when they are finally going to go down for lying and breaking the law.
I know proof.. here..
ap press release.
The investigation has revealed that White House e-mails about official business 鈥?on electronic accounts intended for political matters 鈥?may be gone, in violation of a law that requires their preservation. Twenty-two White House officials, including political adviser Karl Rove, have the accounts sponsored by the Republican National Committee, administration officials say.
Reply:okay, I know you are slow of mind, so I'll use really small words, but rove had nothing to do with this, and even if he told Bush to do it, it was the Presidents decision and as such, perfectly legal. are there any words there the little boy can't understand?
