I have received an email with attachment, from a business person known to me. I want to open and read attachme

When I attempt to open it goes immediately to save, so I save in my documents, then when I attempt to open it there I can't. It said saved in temporaryfolder" The file type is Microsoft office word 97.I am using XP.Does anybody know what I need to do?.

You can open this document using Microsoft Word. If you have Word any of the later versions of the software should be able to open a document created with Word 97.





If you have word then just double click the file icon.





If you don't have Word then download one of the free readers.
Reply:when u r asked to save it if it gives u the option then save it somewhere where u know where it is and try that. if you have word already on ur pc the u should be able to open it so not sure if u still cant
